GEM Motoring Assist offers Black Friday discount of 10% on its breakdown recovery service

Breakdown recovery provider GEM Motoring Assist is offering a 10 % discount for everyone who buys a policy over the forthcoming Black Friday weekend. The offer is valid for all purchases made between Friday 25 and Monday 28 November inclusive.

GEM chief executive Neil Worth commented: “Our breakdown recovery service has always offered industry-leading customer service as well as excellent value for money. This coming weekend gives motorists the opportunity to obtain an even better deal.

“As winter approaches, no one wants the misery and inconvenience of a breakdown. So, if you do need recovery, it’s good to know that you’ll have GEM at your side, with expert help coming to you fast.”

“The past year has been an exciting one for GEM as we celebrated our 90th anniversary and introduced enhanced coverage for the same great value. In addition to this, the GEM Road Safety Charity will receive 90p from every policy purchased this year.

Cover for members when they’re a passenger in any car

This means members can use GEM’s breakdown recovery service when they’re a passenger in a vehicle driven by someone who is not a GEM member.

Big increase in misfuel claims cover

Members are now covered for up to £250 for misfuel claims, an increase from £70 previously. Nationwide recovery for caravans and trailers The old limit of 10 miles for recovery of vehicles towing trailers or caravans has been scrapped, meaning members can organise recovery to anywhere in the country. Nationwide recovery following an accident, vandalism or theft The 10-mile limit on recovery of members’ vehicles following a collision, vandalism or theft has also been scrapped, and members can organise recovery to anywhere in the country.

Cover for vans weighing up to 3500kg

GEM members driving vans now benefit from a 40 per cent increase in the size of vehicle covered under the policy.
